EDM Planning Services Ltd. (EDM) brings together the skills of regional and urban planners, civil and environmental engineers, and landscape architects to create comprehensive and sustainable solutions to land use and development challenges. Established in 1993, EDM has a track record in large-scale master planning, especially plans and development strategies that fully integrate design, community, environmental, engineering and economic criteria.

EDM’s approach is client-driven. Solutions are designed collaboratively with our clients to achieve their vision. We work with our clients to strategically plan and manage projects for cost-savings and to identify and remove obstacles.We are out in front on behalf of our clients, presenting their ideas to provincial and municipal staff, and the public, creating sustainable community designs, obtaining development approvals, and providing project management services. Where needed, we partner with other firms and individuals to create the best professional team for the job to keep projects on schedule and within approved budgets. EDM strives to develop projects not only reflect the needs and desires of our clients, but also projects that are politically feasible, economically viable and socially and environmentally responsible.
